I wanted to share just a few of the wonderful reviews that I received from gay and lesbian couples I was privileged to serve in 2011. I look forward to even more great New York gay weddings in 2012!

From Michelle and Stephanie

Rev. Will married us and it was one of the most wonderful days of my life. My spouse and I were from Texas and didn’t know much about the New York area. He chose a wonderful park in a gorgeous neighborhood, which worked out really well for the wedding photos after the ceremony. The wedding was absolutely perfect on a perfect day, and was right on time. Due to the fact that it was a same sex wedding, after the law had passed it was a very joyous occasion. It was so nice to have so many people there wanting to celebrate with us in a place where we essentially knew no one!!! The photographers were spectacular and they were referred by the Reverend!! I would definitely recommend Rev. Will to anyone. He made the event so special for us, and we seriously couldn’t have asked for more!! Thank you Rev. Will….we both thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Love ya!!

From Gary and Andy

My partner and I were married on October 30, 2011 at the beautiful Jean Georges Restaurant at One Central Park West. Rev. Will enhanced the ambiance with his gracious, yet elegant style. He mingled with our guests and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. He conducted the ceremony flawlessly. (and he provided extensive materials in advance to help us prepare the ceremony) If you need an officiant for your wedding, look no further than Rev. Will!

From Chelsea and Leanne

Rev Will is a great minister and a wonderful man. He was dedicated to making our wedding ceremony as wonderful as it could be. Within the short working time that we had with Will he was always informative and going out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and at ease. I sure did appreciate everything he did for us on our special day and would highly recommend him.

From Andy and Steve

Rev Will was simply fantastic. We are in Perth, Australia and had no idea of where to hire suits and what photographer to use etc, Reverend Will was very happy to recommend services that all worked out perfectly. We met onsite to check out potential ceremony locations and again Reverend Will was so accommodating. We simply could not have asked for anything more. The ceremony was perfect and was executed perfectly. We can’t speak highly enough about Reverend Will.

From Brett and Colin

Reverend Will did a FASTASTIC job as our officiant for our NYC Central Park Wedding. We live in Houston and were coordinating our event from a distance. Reverend Will was instrumental in helping to make it a worry-free process. From the moment we sent an email to ask for more details, Reverend Will was extremely prompt in response. He gave us a wealth of materials to work with as we customized our ceremony. Reverend Will also gave us some excellent recommendations for musicians that made our ceremony even more memorable. I would highly recommend Rev. Will for any couple planning their NYC wedding – straight or gay. Thank you, Reverend Will, for giving us a life changing ceremony. Hugs, Bret and Colin

The Loeb Boathouse, commonly known as the Central Park Boathouse, is a popular wedding venue for larger, more formal New York City Central Park weddings throughout the year.  As a NYC Wedding Officiant (or Wedding Minister), I can tell you that the accommodations, food and staffing at the Central Park Boathouse are superb.  Located just northeast of Bethesda Terrace with its dockside walkways and generous windows facing the Lake, the setting is matchless whether you plan a daytime or an evening ceremony.

Here are some wonderful photos taken earlier this year at the wedding of Michaela and Jonathan by well-known NYC photographer, Rachel Elkind, of Rachel Elkind Photography.  This wedding of nearly 150 had an intimacy about it that can be credited in many ways to the warmth of this beautiful venue.  The wedding ceremony was preceded by photos and cocktails on the exterior dock and terrace and was followed by a magnificent dinner as the room was transformed following the ceremony.

I would enjoy helping you or your clients prepare for their Central Park Boathouse wedding as their New York City Wedding Minister.  Visit my website http://www.revwill.com or call me at (646) 753-2959.  I look forward to hearing from you about planning your special day in Central Park!

The Wedding of Your Dreams

October 19, 2011

Not so long ago, couples that wanted to get married simply went to their local church. They would meet with the parish minister or priest, take the required classes to qualify for marriage in that church, pick a date for their ceremony and proceed down the aisle at the agreed time. Several factors began to [...]
